The Outsider is one of my favourite pieces of music released this year, an instrumental depiction of the short story by H.P. Lovecraft. Naturally, the music is dark and mysterious and reflects the story phenomenally well. It has been a pleasure to get to know Louis, the phenomimally talented French composer behind Ominious Conclusions. He is equally skilled as a guitarist as he is expressive with orchestral composition - and it's the combination of these abilities which make up the unique sound of Ominious Conclusions.
